We are a fully inclusive and accessible school that recognises the importance of exam qualifications and skills at all levels. We provide an environment in which every student can develop personally and where students, adults and other learners feel safe, secure and are supported by clear discipline policies.

Through creative approaches to teaching and learning, including the use of new technologies, we will build our students’ self- confidence and resilience, challenge their assumptions and raise their aspirations.

School Opening Times

The school day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.05pm.

Students have two half hour breaks during the day and there is an extensive range of extra curricular activities available both before and after school.

Please note that as from May 13th 2013 until the end of the GCSE exams, 2nd break will be after period 3 instead of period 4. This is to allow Year 11 students time to have lunch before afternoon exam sessions.
